What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is an example of a Blockchain.  It is a revolutionary type of database that is beginning to change the world.

With the Blockchain, anyone can send value to anyone else using the system... without having to trust anyone, even the other person.  

It may surprise you to learn that Bitcoin is not the only Blockchain in the world today.  In fact, there are well over 1,000 different blockchains operating around the globe today.  

These blockchains, hundreds of startups, and thousands of developers are working day and night to change the world we live in.  

Over the next 10 years, the blockchain will do to banks what Amazon did to bookstores... and that is only the beginning.
